Not sure what to say?

We are so deeply sadened by the loss of "Doc." What started as a Doctor/Patient relationship turned quickly into a friendship that has spanned the years. Having moved to Texas 13 years ago the news just got to us today (7/31) and we are speechless. The loss of this truly humble man is seen in Heaven as a Blessing. He IS flying in the Heavens as I write.

Will see you one day Paul.

Paul,
My cousin. I live in Ohio and did not see much of him but we talked and e-mailed. His mother and mine were sisters. I have many fond memories of him growing up. Them driving to Ohio in there camper, eating tomatoes on Grandma and Grandpa's front porch. I will miss him and I am hurting for his Mother. Love you Aunt Val.

Paul was a good friend of mine for over 20 years. We raced karts together, worked on his Pantera and his Trans Am project cars(he liked going fast),he started the Palm Bay Grand Prix. He made me laugh. He made me mad. He made me think. And now he has made me sad. I will always have great memories of our friendship.

Paul was a friend to both of us, and will be greatly missed. Our condolences to you, Mom, and to you, Cheryl. I am still in shock that we should lose such a good and giving man at so young an age - our prayers go with you. Paul - fly high and soar among the eagles!

A Major loss to the community. I owe very, very much to Doc V.. He never gave up and wouldn't let me give up either. He got me walking right again when others said it would never happen. When I needed him, It didn't matter where he was, He always showed up to help me. You could always count on him as a friend, A doctor, and at times to lend an ear. My son and I were at the Go-Cart races in '86. He liked to fly on the ground and in the air. He has definately earned his wings. I'm going to...

Please accept my condolences to the Vasconi family and friends.

Doc's Mom & Cheryl,

Doc and I have spent every Wednesday that we could for the past four years reminiscing about airplanes, old friends, war stories and good Thai food. We usually met at the Banzai to enjoy some of Andy's good cooking! Doc was not only a friend, but a brother. I will miss him.

Paul was a true gentleman. A great loss to his profession and his avocation.

I am an old friend from Shorter College and I met Paul my Freshman year. He was a caring and loving man and protective friend to a new little sister to the Phi Delt Fraternity. He was always the calm director at fraternity events, always a smile followed with good jokes. And what a great laugh! His Shorter friends are all in shock. My love and prayers to Cheryl and Paul's mother.
