Not sure what to say?

Mr. Veach was my band director at L.P. Cowart Elementary, from 1954 through 1958. I remember him as being very patient with his students, especially me. He helped set me on my musical path, eventually leading to degrees in music education and performance. Thank you, Mr. Veach, and may you rest in peace.

I remember Mr. Veach being a very kind and gentle man. He was my first band director at L.P. Cowart Elementary School in Oak Cliff in 1953. RIP, Mr. Veach.

Thanks to Mr Veach for teaching me to play the french horn. He was always so sweet to me and I am so thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing him. He made me feel special. He made a big difference in my life.

Loved being in band at Boude Storey with Mr. Veach. Rest in Peace sir.

Mr. Veach was my first flute teacher and band director at Leila P. Cowart (5th and 6th grades). Thank you Mr. Veach for starting me on the journey of a lifetime, as an active amateur musician.

Mr. Veach was my Band Director through 7.8.9th grades at BOUDE STOREY. Loved the games and I can still see him walking up to the band and advising to get ready to line up and telling us Majorettes to get ready. RIP

Mr. Veach was our band director at Boude Storey Jr. High. That's where I first went into band. Very kind, nice man. Had to be to teach beginner band students. R.I.P. Mr. Beach.

He was a wonderful man and did indeed touch those of us who had him for band at Boude Storey. He was very patient with us. The first time he had us try out our instruments it sounded like a train wreck and he smiled and said, "We have a little work to do."

Paul got me started in band at Boude Storey, also, and was one of the first to suggest I consider attending SMU. We were colleagues later-on when I was director of the Kimball High School Band. I was fortune to have this very good man as my teacher, and still use much of what he taught me all those years ago in directing the SMU Alumni Band today.

Rest in peace- and thanks Paul.
