Dear Genella and Maribeth:
We remember you daily in prayer. We pray that you are both well. We'd love to be close enough to visit you; but from southeast GA, it's quite a drive to Michigan.
We send our Love and Prayers,
Ken & Jana Kirkpatrick

With Our Love in Him,

Genella, I remember when you and your dear husband first came to the old West Chicago Ave. Baptist church in the 50's. I followed your ministry for many years and was so glad you were part of our mission's family. Now our church is Plymouth Baptist in Plymouth, MI, and the people there still pray for you. We followed in your "tracks" to Alaska in 1970 for 40 years there. Your dear Paul was a smiling, godly, faithful servant of the Lord and such a blessing to so many wherever he was. You...

Maribeth,

I just found out about the loss of your father on your FB page. I am so sorry for your loss.

I remember what a wonderful man he was. He was always so friendly and joyful. He used to stop in to the main post office downtown (where I worked) to mail books and bibles. Many times he had your daughter with him. He was so proud of her and you. I am so happy to have known him.

I pray for peace & comfort for you and your family. May the Lord bring you...

I am in Florida and am sorry I could not attend the services. My thoughts and prayers are with you. He was a wonderful christian and an honorable man. I believe Mart, Paul and Frank are having a happy reunion with the Lord Jesus. With Love, Peaches Goulooze

He will truly be missed but I am thankful that he left his great work behind as and example for us to follow. My many prayers are with the...

Dear Aunt Genella, Paul, Maribeth & family,

Dick and I were deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Paul's passing. We remember him with great love, and rejoice that he is with the Lord he so graciously served.

He always had that Versluis smile and big bear hug everytime we saw him. He was such a kind man. We will miss him.

We are so sorry we could not make it to
the funeral.

Love you all,
Dick and Mary Versluis

Dear Genella and Family:
We are saddened to hear of your loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. What a wonderful servant he was for the Lord. We will always treasure the memory of our time at Faith Baptist Church in Kailua, HI.
It was the most joyous time of our lives, to bless, and be blessed by the ministries of Faith Baptis Church. We grew in the Lord so much, while we were at Faith.
We send our love and prayers to all; and we know that one day we will all be...

when i think of uncle paul, there are two things which stand out. First, his commitment to his ministry. Even when he was ill, he still went back to the people he loved and continued to preach Christ. The other, was his voice. As a child growing up, i said that if Jesus were around today, he'd sound just like Uncle Paul.
