Paul Joseph Vogt

My heart goes out to Paul's family with his passing.
He really loved his family. And had a great Christian love for his friends and even strangers. I recall he said when he was young he thought about a vocation in the church. He would have made a wonderful, compassionate minister. Even though he did not pursue that vocation this faith and compassion was evident in all his interactions.
He was a very giving man of his time and talents. He did incredible things during his life time. I...

Paul lived a rich and interesting life. He was very proud of his involvement with the medical community in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where his most important positions were administrator of Hennepin County General Hospital and Director of Health and Hospitals for Hennepin County. He was a good father to his sons and will be greatly missed.

My parents were close friends with Paul and Bev, I grew up with him being an improtant part of our family, we often spent holidays together, and would go camping. I cherish the memories I have of my Uncle Paul. I remember he always had baloons in his pocket for us kids, he was always happy and a lot of fun. I will miss my Uncle Paul greatly. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I will miss Paul greatly. He was my best friend in High School and College. We had so many wonderful times together. But, most of all, he introduced me to the Lutheran Church which I have enjoyed up to the present. Paul will be missed a lot.
