Not sure what to say?

You are greatly missed! I was your student, employee, coworker and friend. I feel blessed for all you taught me about people and mental health! It's been 5 years and you have been on my mind. Your patients still miss you and continue to remember the great care you gave them! HE truly broke the mold when he made you, there has been no one like you, especially in the field of Psychiatry! Love, Theresa

I was one of Dr. Paul Wares first patients and remained his patient until 2001. He was a very caring Doctor Nancy Miles. I know he is still seeing patients in Heaven.

I am just know finding out about Dr. Ware, One of the Smartest men I have ever known, A very kind man. I seldom speak of high regards of anyone, but he was way above anyone one else. Sorry for the family's and the community's loss.

Lisa, I was in Paul's 202 class with you in 1984(?). I don't know if you remember me. At that time I lived in Conroe, TX. I was looking for Paul's article on Gestalt Therapy "Doors" Open door, closed door and target door when I found the obituary. Barbara Clark had told me of Paul's illness last year. I am so sorry for your loss. It is a loss shared by a whole generation of people Paul touched with his incredible wisdom, kindness and humor. He lives on in my thoughts and my heart. I...

Dear Lisa & Family,
I was told recently about Paul's passing and was deeply saddened that I wasn't at his funeral to offer my respects. I was honored to work with Paul for years at Charter and then at the office on Southfield. He impressed me more than any other doctor by our challenging talks and debates on our shared practices. I have prayed for you and your comfort during this time. When I saw him last and he spoke with me, I was touched with the deep respect and love I've had...

Lisa,
I just came across Paul's obituary. I am sorry for your loss. I still practice in San Angelo and often go back to the training I got in the 202 when doing therapy. I think of y'all often.

W. Truett Smith, Ph.D. (Pitchie)

Paul Ware was a fine man and helped many young people I knew.He was especially good with the adolescent.

My heartfelt sympathy to Paul's family members. He was a good man that contributed oh so much to so many. The obituary really hit the nail on the head when it described his contributions positively impacting generations. I too was fortunate enough to be one of his patients in the early 1970's. His wisdom, support, and grasp of what is most important in life had a tremendous impact on my life and I think on that of my family as well. I worked at Shire House as well as a counselor and got...

So saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Ware and know that I feel honored that I had the opportunity to work with him during his time as Chairman of the Dept. of Psychiatry at LSUHSC-S. He was so caring, compassionate, and such an awesome teacher. My condolences to the family. Babs Boykin
