Not sure what to say?

My Uncle Paul (The Governor) was always an inspiration to everyone he met. All my life, he was such an integral part in my "growing up". Whenever I sought advice and guidance, Uncle Paul was always there. He had a way of drawing out my thoughts, and having me come up the answers I sought from him. That being said, he would always put his icing on the cake and would drive my thought levels to heights I never imagined. I remember, after a meeting with one of my cousins, he pointed at me...

To the Family of Paul Washington. My heart was saddened to hear of his passing. He was one of my great pal and inspiration at Dept. of State. I missed him so much when he retired. May the peace of God be with you all during this transition. God Bless. Mary

To the greatest man I know. To a man who showed love and compassion to the poor, elderly, young and his family. To a man who selfishly gave of himself, to his community, political organizations, co-workers, fraternities, friends and family. I solute you and may I say, “JOB WELL DONE”. To my best friend, mentor, hero. To you Dad, I miss you and I will always love you.

You’re Son

Everyday I think about my dad "aka" the lover (the name I gave him when I was younger)and all the happy, fun and sometimes sad times we shared together. You were always there for me, all your children, family and friends.

If I had an opportunity to be your caregiver again -- better known as Nurse Rachett to you and others, I'd do it in a heartbeat without hesitation regardless of whether you are well or ill. We have had many memorable times together that I cherish. And remember,...

Diane,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family as you mourn the loss of your beloved father. I remember running into you at the Riggs Giant and talking and laughing with you about how we were both caring for our parents...although it was a rigorous job we would not hesitate to do it all over again. My Mom passed in October 2007 and I miss her every day but I cherish every moment I got to dote on her. Let's stay in touch!

Family,

I send love and am sadden to hear about your dad. May your hearts be comforted. May the love of the creator give each family member understanding.

Diane, Donna, Debbie and Jeffrey; May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived. You all have my heartfelt sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. I know Paul was truely blessed and enjoyed life to the fullest my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dear Family,

My heartfelt "thoughts" and "prayers" are with you all at this time of the loss of your father and loved one. May the beautiful memories of your father stay with you, in your hearts and minds, and may God's peace be with you always to comfort and console you.

God Bless,
