Not sure what to say?

I went to high school with Paul. His folks and mine were the greatest of friends and our families spent a lot of time together. But, as so often happens, people move and lose touch.

I give my heartfelt sympathy to his family, mother Dorothy, and sister Lela.

Paul was a perfect neighbor. He always thought of others before himself. His presence in the neighborhood will be missed, but his spirit remains forever. My heart goes out to Sharon, Elisabeth, Nick, Shelby Lynn, and the rest of Paul's family.

Dear Sharon, Nick and Elisabeth,

I know in my heart, that Paul is in a better place and his pain and suffering are over. He was met on the other side by Jim, his beloved brother. I feel certain that Jim has already shown Paul some of the great places to sink their lines, just like the old days.

The Rough Road of Life
Written by James A. Weaver

There are many roads in our lives,
Roads of happiness and joy
Roads of tears and sorrows
But we must each travel...

Sharon,
We are so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. It was our pleasure to have gotten to visit with him at the Vess Family Reunion last August.

Dear Sharon, Nick, and Elisabeth:

I've known Paul for a number of years and I always found him to be a hard worker, ethical, honest, and had a love for God in his own unique way. My heart goes out to your family and to Paul's mother. Paul's love for his family and his love for hunting and fishing were first and foremost in his life.

It was an honor to know him and he is now at peace and home with our Holy Father.

My brother was

My brother was a handsome man, lived his life on his own, then one day my brother died, I honored him alone, and told him rest Edward now, rest you now.
Tomorrow you’ll be gone.
You were a brave, kind, gentle man
You’ll always be in my heart.
You were my best friend some time ago,
Edward, you were my brother.
Now the time has come to say,
You’re in my heart, you’re in my soul,
Edward
Go Rest High on That Mountain
I love you,

Sharon, I am so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. The last time I spoke with Jan Carpenter, she told me there were new cancers but thought/hoped they could eradicate it. Please know you and the children are in my thoughts and prayers.

I moved to Indiana the beginning of October to be with my daughter and grandchildren. So, I keep up with things @ BVWD thru Jan and read the local paper on line

Dear Sharon and Family,

My heart goes out to you. Sharon, I have know you for such a long time - you were a bridesmaid in my wedding and I was at yours and Paul's wedding.

I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Please let me know if there is anything that I can do.
