Not sure what to say?

You were always my favorite teacher. God Bless.

I would like to express my condolences to the family for your loss. I was in Mr. Wendler's 12th grade Social Studies class. He was such a nice guy and excellent teacher. He made Social Studies fun and interesting. He was one of my favorite teachers from Walpole High School. He always greeted you with a smile and made you laugh.

Papi-
I will always remember the way you watched me play the piano, encouraging me to continue my passion for music every day. I will always miss your jokes, and you're smile, which could always light up a room. No birthday will ever be the same without your rendition of happy birthday on the piano. I will miss you; but remember you always, especially whenever I sit down to play. Thank you for being such a great man.
Love, Kristen

We remember Mr. Wendler very well, both as a teacher and a coach. He was funny, kind, very caring, and one of our favorites. He will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Wendler and family,
I was so sorry to hear that your husband passed away. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
We were so blessed to have Mr. Wendler as our Social Studies Teacher at Walpole High School. Wonderful man!
Sincerely,

My love and sympathies go out to all of you. Although our paths have not crossed in recent years, what wonderful fond memories.

Love to all,
Sheryl

My sympathies to Mr. Wendler's family. Mr. Wendler was an incredible teacher (and homeroom teacher too) and will be missed by so many students. His love of teaching was absolutely remarkable and he always found time for those students who needed extra help or just needed to talk. Andrea, Class of 1977

Thank you to all who took time to write in Paul's guest book. Alzheimer's led us on a journey we never expected but in so many ways made us closer. I will miss his humor, his smile, seeing his hands playing the piano and holding mine, his strong arms around me, but mostly I'll miss his unconditional love. Be safe "my friend"- until we meet again- thanks for the memories. I'll always have you close in my heart. Love, Ann ("the wife") and other half of Team Wendler.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Mr Wendler will sorely be missed. He was a wonderful teacher with such a zest for teaching. You could always see the love of his work in his face every day. Class '81
