Not sure what to say?

I have nothing but great memories of Father Wickens, from the age 6 years old right through my adulthood Father Wickens was there for the best of times in my life and the worst.He always teased me about my lead roll I got in the 8th grade play at St. Venantius, It was Golda from Fiddler On The Roof, to baptizing my two sons, Coming to watch their High school Football games, to conducting the most beautiful mass for my mothers death. I will greatly miss him. May he rest in peace.

Fr. Wickens was a caring and loving man. He was a very special person and he will be greatly missed. May God bless him and may he rest in eternal peace.

The human race lost one of it's best. My Family and me have known Fr. Paul for over 50 years. My dad and mom met him on his first day on the job at St.Venantius back in 1953. I feel we are all better people for having known him. His friendship to my parents and me is something that will be with me forever. Even after I moved to California, we still kept in touch through my parents. He was one of kind. Can't wait to watch Notre Dame football games with him again in heaven some day...God's...

My family wishes to reach out to the Wickens family with our deepest sympathies. Although I did not know Fr. Paul he was my second cousin. My mother, Catherine Kohl Wujick, was a long lost cousin and I would ask Wickens family members to please contact me. I would like to know more about my grandmother's (Anne Schaller Kohl)side of the family.

To the Wickens Family;
Father Paul as he liked to be called, was more like family. He was a part of my life from the age of 8, he was not just our parish priest but was welcomed by all in the community. I can remember him visiting me in the hospital on numerous occassions and watching the Yankees with me. He guided us and helped make us who we are today. I am pleased that my children had the opportunity to meet him and that he was there for their births and baptisms. The world should...

I was a student at St. Venantius (Orange) when Fr. Wickens was a resident priest.
His faith and enthusiasm for life was a great inspiration to me in my formative years. He will be missed.

My Sincere Prayers go out to the Wickens Family and the church family as well. I, a prior student and parishoner of St. Venantius am such honored to have been blessed to have been under the care and guidance of such a great priest. My memories are long an pleasant--from hot dog sales, gym in the basement, honor roll picnics at South Mountain Reservation, The crowing of the Virgin Mother, Christmas Plays, Picnics in back of the rectory, bingo on saturdays.....To the church & family your loss...

A great loss to the Catholic Faith, especially to St. Anthony's Chapel.
He was a special friend and Priest to my wife and I from St. Venantius Church. May God bless him and welcome him in his Kingdom.

Father's Wickens has completed his earthly mission for our Lord and Savior. Now he rests in the arms of his Father in Heaven and he is filled with love, joy and peace for all eternity. Our prayers are with his family and those left on earth who will miss him. May God bring them through their grief. God's Will is done on earth as in Heaven. Amen.
