Paula was one of our best friends in high school. We were all stationed on Elmendorf AFG and went to West High in Anchorage. We were the "Elmendorf girls" and had so much fun together...slumber parties in pink pajamas at the "General's" house no less. We went to many proms together, my Mom, an excellent seamstress made many of our gowns. Paula was beautiful inside and out and I am so sad I didn't get to see her again, except finding eachother on fb many years ago. She was the kindest person!...

Paula spoke about all of you, what was going on in your lives. We spoke thru text often recently. I will miss that. When we were growing up and the family was coming to visit our grandparents in Austin, we always made the trip from Beaumont to Austin so we could all be together and Paula and I could have not seen each other in 4+ yrs and we went right in to playing and talking like there was no distance or years between us. We...
