Not sure what to say?

Paula was such an inspiration! She was my outdoor school counselor when I was in the sixth grade. She went by the name Thumper, but because I knew her, I kept calling her Paula. I've called her Thumper ever since. She was loved by my family. My mother felt Paula had Hannah personally for her so she could know what it was like to be a grandmother. Even though Paula was quite sick, she came to the hospital when my mother fatally fell from a ladder. She could not go in to say goodbye to...

I knew Paula over 30 years ago. She is and will always be a special lady. Often I wondered what her story would entail, and if her life was what she envisioned.

Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. My heart still aches loosing my dearest friend whom was the sister I never had. Best friends for 38 years. Through high school, Mt. Hood Community College and adult life. She could light up any room and touched many lives. Her great love for her daughter was her driving force for beating cancer 13 years. Rest in peace dear Paula

I met Paula when I took my daughter Alex to the Helen Gorden at the age of three. Paula was such a warm and nuturing person to my daughter. I was lucky to meet Paula and Hannah in more recent years after my daughter was grown. Paula was a wonderful person and feel fortunate to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Barb and Alex

Paula was a friend and neighbor, a warm caring and loving individual, she will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to her wonderful daughter,Hannah, and her brother and parents.

Paula, You will be missed by so many.

Our family had the pleasure of knowing Paula. She was a woman of tremendous strength and courage and a great humor. Our lives were made better by knowing her. Her lovely daughter and family will be in our prayers.

As a teacher at Helen Gordon, Paula guided & nurtured my daughters (Erin & Chloe Block), helping them grow into the wonderful young women they have become. The ever-present sparkle in her eyes was what drew me to read her obituary on Sunday. I am very sad her life was cut short, but am certain the light she carried is now residing in her daughter, Hannah. We were all fortunate to have known her, if only for a brief time.

Paula was a very old and dear friend, She succeeded in cheering us when we tried to cheer her, Her battle with cancer was remarkable and exceptional, We loved her dearly and will miss her terribly, Our deepest sympathies go out to Hannah and her family. They will be in our prayers as they have been for a long time. God bless and keep them and welcome our dear Paula.
