Paula Dodds

Paula Rae Lane Dodds, 72, passed away at her residence in Aberdeen on December 14, 2024.  She was born in Rockford, IL on December 3, 1952 to the late Arvine and Audrey Clark Lane.  On December 17, 1970 she married Herman Dodds.  Paula worked in the area garment industry before her retirement.  She loved her three musketeers, Michael, Michelle and Melisa.  She was also a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved to shop at the Dollar Tree and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially when they ate steak. Paula was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord.  She is in heaven with her other loved ones.  Her husband said come on pumpkin and be with me.  

Paula is survived by her children, Michael Dodds (Mary Kate), Michelle Sanders (Jeff) and Melisa Easter (Tony); sisters, Pam Landerholm and Patty Angelico (Brian); grandchildren, Michael Dodds, Jr., Ashley Pettus. Lori Pettus Harris (Denton), Breanna Barnhart (Taylor); great grandchildren, Sean, Blaine, Mason, Adeline, Drew, Skylar, Ivy-Claire and Colby Ray.

In addition to her parents and husband, Paula is preceded in death by her sister, Karen Byrers; brothers, Roger Lane and Robin Lane.

A Memorial service will be held later.
