Paula E. Eakins

Paula E. Eakins, 82, Kansas City, MO, passed away October 7, 2004, at Liberty Hospital. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, October 10 at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, 8240 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO, 64138. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and memorial contributions to the Lutheran Ministry, c/o Peace Lutheran Church. Paula was born January 4, 1922, in Jackson County, MO, to Paul and Gertrude Karl. On April 15, 1961, she married Jesse M. Eakins, who survives of the home. She is also survived by her sister Katherine Krahenbuhl, Cleaves, OH; and nieces and nephews. Paula was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church where she was active with the Golden Age Group. She was also a member of the Ladies Helvethia Society. (Arr. Muehlebach Funeral Home, 816-444-2060)
