Gosh, I am sad to hear of Paula's passing.! It was just a couple years ago that she was selected as one of ten outstanding women of the year in Cincinnati. I sent her a note then, congratulating her, and telling her the honor was way overdue. She wrote right back, asking about all our daughters and remembering that her first garage sale to finance her "earth friendly" converted chicken house was at our house on Charlotte Drive.

Sister Paula taught me most of my Biology courses as a Biology Major at the College of Mount Saint Joseph.
She was an excellent instructor and by example, taught me more about teaching than any education training experience. She was the first to spark my interest in Ecology back in 1970. Her insight and enthusiasm also first inspired me to make Environmental Education a priority topic as a Biology teacher today. We have lost a "little giant" and a powerhouse for protecting the Earth.

Sr Paula taught me anatomy and physiology back in the early 70s at the Mount. She had a reputation for being tough but I thought she was great...THE best teacher I have ever had, and I did go on to get a Master's degree. I will always remember her for that

Sr Paula taught me Anatomy and Physiology at Mt St Joe back in the 70s as part of my nursing program. She was THE best teacher I have ever had....not easy by any means, but really great.
I have and will always remember her. She was a great lady!
