Not sure what to say?

To the Family:

When I look back at all the teachers I had at Chester Barrows, none pushed me harder than Mrs. Graziano. I remember being 7 years and being the class chatterbox. She knew I was a bright girl and just wanted me to prove myself. Math was tough, but she helped me through it. Finally, one day she was sick of me talking and sent a note home to my mother. I was so scared I flushed the note down the toilet. Feeling satisfied, I went home.
That night, the phone rang....

Michael,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family doing this difficult time. My mother always had such wonderful things to say about Paula. She was so kind to my Mom and will be missed.

Dear Family,

I had Mrs. Graziano, formerly Miss Higgins, for second grade at Chester W. Barrows school during the 1976-1977 school year.

There were many things that Mrs. Graziano taught me such as reading and spelling, but the biggest thing that she taught me was how to take responsiblitly for my own learning.

It was from her structured classroom that made me the Cranston science teacher that I am today.

I returned to her second grade classroom at Chester...

Michael, We are so saddened by Paula's passing. I will always remember when Bob brought me to Rhode Island to meet the family and how you and Paula welcomed me in. That is something I never will forget. I enjoyed my phone calls with her. She was a wonderful person and she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time
