Not sure what to say?

I did not know Paula personally, but I worked with her sister Karen. I am so sorry to hear about this young woman's death. My condolences and sympathies go out to Paula's daughters and to Paula's sisters and brother. May Paula rest in peace and may God bless her family.

I will never forget this dear lady's sweetness and bright smile. I am so sad to learn of her passing; my heart breaks for her daughters! Ah, but the hope we all share is so much stronger!

Although I did not personally know Paula, our church, St. Thomas More Cath. Church in Oceanside, have been praying for Paula and her family. We know her sister, Kathy Santy, our Music Assistant. My thoughts and prayers are with the Gurrera Family during this most difficult time and to her siblings as well. May God give you comfort. And may Paula Rest in Peace.

May 26,2009

It was a heartbreak to hear of Paula's serious illness, and to visit with her over the months that have ensued. So many friends have joined in praying for her daily and praising progress, followed by ups and downs that she suffered so couragously, never giving up that the Lord would heal her. She was such a sweet and caring friend and we all will miss her smiles and hugs. Our loving prayers go to her daughters, and family.

Please know that it has been an honor to be a part of the vast chain of hundreds of individuals and churches that have been holding Paula and all of you up in prayer these past many months. We are praying for your comfort and peace and sense of God's nearness and mercies as you grieve.

Paula will be remembered by her friends at DAR as a vital, contributing member, so proud of her heritage. We will miss her so much.

I was sad to read about Paula's death. I went to preschool, elementary school, middle school, & high school in Tustin with Paula and we kept in touch. It was great to see her at our 20 year reunion. We both ended up in North county. I will miss Paula, but will always remember how much fun we had in our childhood. My sympathy to her kids and family.

Paula's love for her daughters will always remain a shining light in my memory. We would often sit together when all our children were young and talk for hours on end. We both enjoyed antiques, gardens and lacy things. I miss her and our many talks.

I miss Paula so much, will miss her attendance at football games, lunches at Al's in the village, praying together, birthday lunches, talking about Dancing with the Stars and American Idol and so, much more. Linda Rosso
