Not sure what to say?

Sam, I just found out about Paula's passing in the Rush Alum News. I am so sorry for your loss - she was a WONDERFUL, kind, sweet lady. I lucked out in being her nursing skills lab partner in the early 90's & could not have asked for a better friend going through the program. Also, we talked a lot to each other when I went back for my masters there some years later. I remember her talking about how happy she was to have met you & how well you both treated each other. She was such a gentle...

Paula was a kind, intelligent person and a dear soul. I will miss her smile and her gentle humor. I was witness --- time and again--- to her diligence as a daughter and her love for Sam. Through my recent conversations with Donna, I have learned how Paula was also a "sister extraordinaire." She inspired us all this past year, and I will share my memories of Paula with others in the years to come. Her memory is certainly a blessing!

Sam,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a life partner is very tough, and although I did not know Paula, I know you and she had a loving relationship. You have my most sincere sympathy,
Rona

Dear Sam,

I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I hope in time, as your grief eases, that your memories of happy times with Paula will comfort and sustain you.

Please know that you, and all those who loved Paula, are in my thoughts and prayers.
