Paula Karen Miyashiro Kurashige

I am sorry to have missed the service for Paula, a wonderful person, teacher and friend. I wish her family well, knowing that she left behind wonderful memories. She was a tremendously gifted person, who served as an inspiration to students, fellow teachers, and all who came to love her kindness, wisdom, and laugh.

Paula was such an incredible friend, colleague, & Dean to countless students at Punahou. She will forever be remembered for her kindness & grace & will be truly missed. She made the world a better place Me Ke Aloha, Nori Peterson

Mrs. Kurashige is a bright light for so many of us. I am grateful that I got to be a recipient of her leadership, her care, her kindness, her guidance. I know the heavens are a shade brighter. Mrs. Kurashige left a lasting mark on all of our hearts and I join so many in honoring her....remembering her...sharing prayers to her family who kindly shared her with so many...and taking the things that she taught me along this journey of life to pay it back and pay it forward as Mrs Kurashige...

I'm so so sorry to hear about the passing of my former speech teacher and will attend the service at Punahou on Nov. 1.

Richard I am very sorry to hear of Paula's passing. Please accept my heart-felt condolences. We were High School friends and I knew she was destined for greatness.
