Not sure what to say?

I knew Paula ( Spid for us ) in France when we were 16. She was so marvellous and all my friends of Ambleteuse, near Boulogne sur mer in the north of France think the same. I was with a friend Catherine when we looked at google to know where was Spid and discovered the terrible news. I came more than 25 years in New Jersay and saw her for the last time. I have seen her family and was so well received. I think of them . And if Victor Mc Nelly could send me a mail , I would be so happy. And the...

To the family of Dr. Paula Ardehali,

you mother left a big impression on me when I was taking her class in Rutgers University. She completely took me by surprised when she spoke to me in fluent Farsi. Smart, funny, always laughing, and filled with energy... that how I remember her. From time to time, I think about my professors and I have to say that she stands out. That's why I tried to search for her and found out about this sad news.

My condolences to all of you. Rest...

I am SO sad to learn this news. My first clue was when my Christmas card was returned undeliverable today. Paula was a WONDERFUL friend and a superb host. On several overnight visits she had me in stitches with stories of her teaching, her Halloween costumes, and her skating adventures. She was incredibly kind and creative in so many ways! She always prepared a feast and engaged my mind in lively conversation and discussion of ideas.

It is my loss never to have known her older...

Dear mummy,
Today is the first Thanks Giving without you. I miss you terribly.
I love you. Always.

To Paula's Family,
I found out too late of Paula's passing to attend the funeral. This saddened me because I wanted to share my thoughts of Paula.
Her vivacity, her warmth, her teaching, her knitting talent, her roller skating, her theatrical endeavors, her love of Halloween, her cooking and her hosting many of the Friday the 13th knitting events.
Always a dynamo, an amazing gal!
Her cooking! We would talk about all the Jewish foods she loved and I would share recipes.
We met...

Always a bright, shining light. Paula, you will be missed!

Paula-
The world will be a little less bright and colorful without you in it. I will miss you a lot, my fellow gnome loving friend! I will miss our outings to go swimming at Randolph lake, grabbing a meal at Atlanta bread and the Cracker Barrel, planning out Halloween costume ideas with you in August, celebrating Halloween at your house each year, and most of all laughing with you during period 4 lunch. I loved your delight when I flocked your yard full of pink plastic flamingos...

Rest in peace, my good friend, neighbor, fellow tea drinking Brit, and fixer of my knitting disasters. I shall miss you and the plans we made. Your special smile will keep the heavens happy.

Dr. McNelly was my sons French teacher at both Brooklawn Middle School and Parsippany Hills High School. Rarely does an educator connect so well with her students. Not only did she teach the subject matter, but she shared stories of her wonderful life with her students and really made an effort to know and understand them.

We are terribly sad to hear this news! She will live on in the hearts of those that she touched and will be sorely missed!

Our thoughts and prayers go...
