Paula Denise Nansen, 58, of Moss Bluff passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2017 in her residence.
Mrs. Nansen was born on February 27, 1959 in Lake Charles and lived in the Lake Charles/Moss Bluff area all of her life. She was a retired bookkeeper for local restaurants. Mrs. Nansen was a member of Crossroads Church in Moss Bluff. She dedicated her life to her family and to the Lord. She especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter and four grandchildren. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed by many.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jeffrey Nansen of Moss Bluff; her daughter, Kimberly Sensat (Chuck) of Gillis; parents, Mona Murray and Donald Bergeron and wife Annette; three sisters, Marlene, Donna, and Barbara; a brother, Rene; and four grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Breyanna, and Landon. She also leaves behind many additional family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 20, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Terry Ardizzone will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Monday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroads Church Building Fund, 338 Old Hwy 171, Lake Charles, LA 70611.
My deepest sympathies to your family. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Always remember the good times you shared with Paula. May you find comfort knowing she is with God. God bless all of you.

Ms. Mona I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Ms. Paula. I had the pleasure of speaking to her to schedule her appointment last week over the phone. I only knew her thru the office but I always enjoyed seeing you and her at ya'lls visits. I pray that God lays his hands on you and her family to give ya'll the peace and comfort to get thru this difficult time.

So very sorry to hear of Paula's passing, a very sad time in all of your lives. While I never met her, I knew her. While not having seen you Jeff, in probably 50+ years, I have followed a little bit on Facebook and through family stories.
