Not sure what to say?

Paula Phillips - what a beautiful woman! I had the privilege of being her student. I gleaned so much from her.

I will never forget she detested the word "very." At the beginning of the school year she announced to all that utilizing very, anywhere on paper, would garner the prompt fostering of taking pen in hand and marking the loss of a full letter-grade next to said guilty student's name in her grade book for every egregious placement. Several students thought she was bluffing. ...

What a lovely, lovely person she was...inside and out. She was kind, professional, fun, and always looked for the best in people. I have fond memories of her from school.

Ms. Phillips was always very kind to me. She was a great example of a hardworking professional. I'm sorry for your loss.

I never actually met her in person but felt like I knew he very well. Peace for her family.

On behalf of myself and the graduating class of Russellville High School 1956, we offer our deepest condolences on the death of our friend and classmate. Paula was a lovely person always and many of us were able to renew our friendship with her following our 50th class reunion in 2006. May peace be with her family.

Judy, I am so sorry to hear of Paula's passing. May God be your source of comfort during this time of sorry.

I had Miss Phillips for English and French. She was my favorite teacher. She was also a great role model for young women. Her strength, her pursuit of higher education, her willingness to build a beautiful life on her own. Paula Phillips was a real gem.

So so sad to see this. She was always such a nice person. She was so good to me in High School. I pray for peace and comfort for her family and friends.

So sorry for your loss. Even though I never got the chance to meet Paula, I will miss the endless stories she shared about our family.
