Paula Waddle

I worked for Paula at her law office in Corpus Christi, Texas.

I wanted to talk to Paula about our days at UT Austin when we both were members of the Austin Friends of the Farm workers. I googled her name only to find out that she passed 8 years ago. We were very good friends in those days, she working on her law degree and me on my Ph.D. in Sociology. But we didn't keep in touch, my loss...she is missed...by many...

Paula and I were classmates(prelaw) at Loyola New Orleans 1965-1966. Good to see she had a good life and touched so many. Sorry to hear she passed so soon. She always had a smile at Loyola and was a ROTC scabbard and blade sponsor.

Paula befriended me in January 2006 and I have enjoyed the correpsondence and telephone calls that we have had since then. I shall miss her invitations to the many functions in the Brownsville area that she offered me these past two years. She was an extraordinary person, positive and enthusiastic about everything.

Paula touched many lives and spread her smile and enthusiasm everywhere she went. She will be missed, especially by the US Courts family.

Paula was a wonderfully sweet and caring person. I will miss seeing her at all the various library functions we attended. She always wore a smile and had a good attitude no matter what was going on in her life.

We have lost a dear treasure. But we know she is in God's comforting arms.
