Not sure what to say?

Hello, I'm Carole Chauncey, a friend of Paula's from Case Western University. I live in Canada and I would like to hear how Paula's children are doing. None of the phone numbers I have are active so if anyone who reads this message knows how my dear friend Paula's family is doing, please email me at: [email protected]. I'd really appreciate hearing about them. Thanks your help.

I will miss Paula's cheerful voice and her happy spirit which has kept our friendship ever since we met in graduate school in many years ago. I'm very sad today after hearing about her death last night. I had a wonderful visit with Paula and her family last year. I'll remember her big smile and that giggle!! She was a dedicated wife, mother, and family member. Always ready to help others. She had a zest for life that amazed me. Rest in my dear friend.

Carole...

We met Paula through her brother Ennis Prince. We send our condolences to him, her husband, children and the rest of the family. May God comfort and keep all of you as you mourn Paula's passing. Remember, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". We love you.

Paula was a good friend and my first real estate agent who help me find my first house. She was a beautiful person and will be missed

I have some wonderful memories of Paula, and they are all from when she stayed in the country with us. It was during the summers when school was out, and on the weekends. We had a ball and Paula would call herself making us breakfast, because grandma wanted to get out into the gardens. We dreaded it when Paula called herself cooking, she would try to imitate grandma's cooking, and try to make homemade biscuits, and runny eggs. We played along and ate it. We were all so young, but so happy...

I am sadden by the loss of my dear friend of many years. God BLESSED ALL OF HER FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS WITH HER GRACE AND LOVE. God will continue to bless her family.

Love,

Jane, Yessene and Zenica Dowell
