Paula Jane Ziemba, 45, of Mansfield, CT, passed away peacefully after her courageous fight against breast cancer on Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of Robert and Margaret (L'Heureux) Chenail of Manville, RI. Paula was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, RI. She had worked at Rockville Bank and was involved in the Mansfield Little League. Besides her parents, Paula is survived by her loving husband, Richard M. Ziemba; their two children, Zachary Taylor Ziemba and Abigail Helen Ziemba; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Sharon Ziemba of Vernon, CT; three siblings, Doreen Fish and her husband Tracy of Canterbury, CT, Lisa Hoss and her husband William of Danielson, CT, and Keith Chenail and his wife JoAnne of Manville, RI; sister-in-law, Lynn Fortunato and her husband Paul of Stafford Springs, CT; nieces and nephews, Christopher, Leah, Allen, Harrison, Erin, Derek, and Jared; and her dear close friends, Lauren and Galen Beaupre, Brent and Samantha. The family would like to especially thank her Mansfield community of friends, the staff at the DeQuattro Cancer Center, and numerous friends for all of their support. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 9-11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Myself I look at her picture to see that big, contagious smile.
Paula loved her family adored her husband and children .
She had and has special place in my heart.

Paula, I believe, was an angel put on this earth to make us all better people. She was beautiful,positive,funny,personable and one of the strongest women I have ever met. Paula was an amazing person, strong beautiful and an awsome mom. She will be so very missed. Heaven has an angel that will be watching over all of you everyday.
