Though I never got to know Aunt Pauline well, my mother-in-law (her sister) Martha would tell of a time she had unopened perfume in a pretty bottle and her sister Pauline opened it and tried it. Thanks to Aunt Pauline, Joe and I knew just what to get Mom when we were in Paris. Yes, French perfume in a pretty bottle! It made Mom giggle; she loved it!
