I am so sad to just learn about Aunt Pauline. I always enjoyed my phone visits with her and her adorable stories about what Johnny and I did as babies in Philadelphia and Ocean City while our daddies were "away."
Only saw her a few times later in my life but she was always so dear to my parents and me. All our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.

My mother, your Aunt Irene, would say that hearing from Aunt Pauline on the phone every day was such a boost to her spirits and kept her going. All the Krugs loved to laugh and at one reunion they numbered the jokes and would just say,for example, "Number ten" and all would laugh until they cried.How blessed we are that we are part of that family. Aunt Pauline was certainly one grand lady. We enjoyed visiting her and Aunt Dot occasionally while staying with our family in Bradenton, and she always would insist on feeding us. (She was definitely a Krug!) She had the sunniest smile and the most welcoming disposition that embraced everyone. Dave, Jenny, Debbie, and I loved to trade family stories with her and to catch up on family news. She made us laugh and always reminded us about that valuable link that binds families together--love....
