Ruth Ann:

I wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your family during this very difficult time in your life. When we worked together and even after that, you always told me how much your Momma meant to you and to your sister and brothers and what a special person she was. That is very evident from the other tributes that have been written. The loss of a parent is a very heavy burden but what I have been told and have done is remember all of the good times and the...

We were honored to live on the same street as Pauline. She had a love and a passion for Clarksville that may never be seen again. I loved hearing her stories and seeing her sing Gospel.

What a treasure and a life well-lived.

The world has lost a truly Great Lady, one of the few who are left in this old world. Clarksville was such a memorable place and Miss Pauline will be missed by all who knew her and knew of her. The world will have Miss Pauline's wonderful memories to lead them. God Bless Miss Pauline's families and the greatest sympathy to all of you,

I met Pauline many years ago through my friendship with her daughter, RuthAnn. A transplant from Dallas, Pauline always welcomed me into her home with open arms, a warm spirit and tender words. After moving away, each time I came back to visit Austin, I made time for Pauline as well and she was still the beautiful and compassionate woman I had met so many years before. My heart is hurt but her spirit will always live in me and I offer my deepest condolences to her family.

Ruth Ann and Archie,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you both. Your Mom was a wonderful lady. I know her proudest accomplishment was what good people you both are. Your kindness throughout the years to me and my sister is something we will never forget and always appreciate.
