In loving memory of Pauline Inklebarger Brown: God called our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend home to be with him. She was welcomed with open arms on Monday October the 24th, 2011. Pauline was born in Blair, Oklahoma on December 10, 1929. She was accompanied by her identical twin sister, Jeanene. She was raised by loving parents, Jay and Leona Inklebarger in an idyllic setting near the small farming community of Warren, OK. She graduated from High School in Blair, OK. She met her husband to be Lonnie Brown in nearby Altus. They were married on August 7, 1948. Pauline was an accomplished pianist and singer. She and Jeanene sang at community functions as well as with church choruses. They also sang on a regular broadcast at radio station KWHW in Altus, OK and had a wide following in that part of Oklahoma. She is survived by husband, Lonnie Brown of Albuquerque, daughter, Paula Jean Brown of Austin, TX, oldest son, Lonnie J. Brown of Albuquerque, David Brown of Albuquerque and his fraternal twin brother, Robert Brown as well as brother, Richard Inklebarger and wife, Valerie of Albuquerque and sister, and husband, Bill and Jeanene Lawrence of Albuquerque. Pauline's four granddaughters are Claire Brown of Albuquerque, Dianna and Kendra Brown of Sacramento, CA and Patsy Jean Gelb of Portland, OR. Pauline was an active member at the Northeast Albuquerque Church of Christ. Pauline was a loving home maker with a passion for interior decorating. She made homes for the family in many interesting places that her husband's business career took them to including California and Hawaii. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, October 29, 2011, 10:30 a.m., at The Northeast Church of Christ, 11000 Paseo del Norte NE. Internment will take place at The Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's name be made to the Fisher House Foundation. It supports America's Military in time of need.
