From one Pauline Burr to another, God bless from Sussex, England.

Our friendship dates back to the 1970's when were in the Glengarry Girls Pipe Band. The band lasted just over five years but the friendships have lasted a lifetime. In the last ten or fifteen years Pauline was the glue that held us together. We had many reunions at her house. I tried to visit her every time I was in Syracuse. Always a joy to see her and her beautiful garden. She was a dear friend and I will miss her greatly.

My sympathy to Pauline's family. I pray that God will comfort you at this time. I will miss her dearly as she was a wonderful neighbor and friend to me for the past 14 years. We had many fun and exciting times together, and she loved to take walks with me and my dog Polly. Elton Ave will not be the same without her! We will all miss her beautiful gardens and her pond she was so proud of. She will always hold a place in my heart...

I was so sorry to read about Pauline. She was such a wonderful teacher, infant's advocate, and parent's support as well as good friend to me. She was a strong woman with determination that helped people whose lives she touched as well as her own. She will be missed. Charlene Grismore
