Pauline A. Carpentier

MORRISVILLE-Pauline Alice Carpentier, 68, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Birchwood Terrace Nursing Home in Burlington, VT.
She was born September 4, 1946 in Morrisville, VT, the daughter of Richard and Edna (Moulton) Carpentier.
Pauline lived in Sarasota, FL for about 30 years and was a disabled Veteran undergoing Dialysis until she received a Kidney Transplant 26 years ago. Although Pauline underwent many setbacks, she always bounced back, earning her the nickname "The Energizer Bunny." Her military nickname was "Carpie."
Pauline moved back to Morrisville about 8 years ago and has lived at home until the last few months. She never lost her sense of humor and always joked around with you. She loved doing needlework, wood projects, gardening, traveling and both of her very special families and was always willing to help anyone. She was a life-long member of the Women's VFW Auxiliary. We have lost a very special lady and she will be greatly missed.
Pauline is survived by her sisters Jean (Mrs Richard) Wells of Morrisville, Rachael (Mrs Clint) Kelley of Rainier, OR, Rita Gilles of Troy, NY, and a brother, William (& Carol) Moulton of Morrisville. She is also survived by her adopted sister, Corrine Ward & very special brothers & sisters, Calvin Baker & family of Richmond, VA; Roger Houston & family of Winchester, VA; Daniel Houston & family of Charlotte, NC; Nancy Baker of Morrisville, VT; Gloria Lanpher & family of Orlando, FL; and Brenda Savage & family of N Hyde Park, VT and several nephews and nieces
She was predeceased by her parents, Dick & Edna Carpentier; her sister, Doris (Norman) Spaulding; a nephew, Nathan Spaulding and a niece, Holly Wells.
Her family wishes to say a very grateful thank you to the staff at Birchwood Terrace, Lamoille Home Health & Hospice for all their wonderful care of Pauline.
Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery later in the spring. Faith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made by visiting faithfh.net.
