Pauline May Chappell

 

WATERTOWN, NY  —  Pauline May Johnson Chappell, 62, of Millington, TN, passed away Jan. 22, 2016. Born Feb. 24, 1953, a daughter of Richard W. and Patty Withrow Johnson, she attended the Watertown City School District, and graduated from Jefferson Community College.  She enjoyed raising and caring for her dachshunds, as well as spending time with her family. Among her survivors are her three sons, Josh (Theresa) Johnson, Eric (companion Shanda Call) Chappell, Michael Chappell; a daughter, Amy (Erick) Schmitt; five sisters, Kathy (Stuart) Salisbury, Jill (Dennis) Reed, Betty Tanner, Cheri (Keith) Wright, Jan (Kevin) Patchen; three brothers, William (Sue) Johnson, Charles Johnson, George Johnson; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Pauline is predeceased by a brother, Josh, a niece, Jessika Patchen, and a brother-in-law, Michael Tanner. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown, NY.
