Pauline Clark

Pauline was perhaps the first new friend I made at North Eugene HS in the fall of 1968. We met in art class and as I recall became fast friends. Her quick wit, friendliness and just plain fun made her a joy to know. Her dad even laid the carpet in our then new house. I was happy to run into Pauline (with Diane Churchill) a couple of times 10-12 years ago when her daughter was performing with the Thurston dance team. She really was a proud mother. And it seemed we just picked up where we left...

Pauline and I were good friends at North and then we were roommates after that. She was so much fun, amazingly talented as an artist and very proud of her kids. We only connected occasionally over the years, as I moved to Arizona. Each time we started our conversations as though we had talked the day before. Don, my sincere condolences to you.
