Omaha. Childhood in Holstein, IA. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, music teacher and special friend. Preceded in death by husband Leigh F. Drake Jr.; and brother Fred Ellerbusch. Survived by son, Dr. Neil L. Drake, Mequon, WI; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Drake Simon and David J. Simon, Purchase, NY; grandchildren, Jaclyn, Alexa and Adam; brothers, Lester and Raymond Ellerbusch, both of Holstein; many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of the Univ. of NE; member of the Omaha, Nebraska, and the National Music Teachers Association; through her husband, a member of Masons and Shriners. She will be missed by all the families, neighbors and music students she dearly loved.

Mrs Drake was my daughter's Erin and Blair piano teacher for several years. We all loved Mrs Drake and her kind demeanor. She instilled the love of music in my girls. We remember her fondly. Our prayers go out to her family.
