Mrs. Pauline Joyce Jordan Holt, age 75, a former resident of New Bern, Washington and Chocowinity, died peacefully surrounded by her children Sunday, November 12, 2017 at River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Washington.


Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, conducted by Rev. Jack Holloman.          


Burial will follow in the Jordan Family Cemetery, Pinetown.


The following will serve as pallbearers: Jeffrey Kelman, Ray Cade, Jordan Potter, Brandon Kelman, Andy Arizpe, and Braydon Kelman.


Mrs. Holt was born In Beaufort County on October 25, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Leslie William Jordan, Sr. and Edith Earle Cox Jordan. Mrs. Holt attended Bath High School. She worked 13 years as the Medical Supplies Supervisor at Craven County Hospital and later as the Billing Supervisor at New Bern Family Practice Center. Mrs. Holt attended Snowd Branch Church of God.


On August 18, 1984, she married Lewis Malloy Holt, Jr., who survives.


Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Pam K. Cade and husband, Ray of Greenville; Tina K. Kelman and husband, Jeffrey of Leesburg, VA; Vanessa Potter of New Bern; step son, Lewis “Butch” Holt III of New Bern; step daughter, Wendy Henriques of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Leslie Jordan, Jr. of Pinetown; sister, Mary Alice LaBarbera of Grimesland; and six grandchildren, Brandon and Braydon Kelman; Tamara, Lauren and Jordan Potter and Dallas Knox.


In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Knox; sister, Sybil Barber; brother, John William Jordan and grandchild, Brittany Kelman.


The family will receive friends 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.
