JEHNSEN, Pauline C. – Of Flushing, age 71, died Monday, September 26, 2016 at her home, surrounded by family and friends.



 



Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Road, Flint, Father Joseph Abud officiating.



 



Burial in Flint Memorial Park.



 



In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.



 



Visitation 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday at the church.



A Trisagion Service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at church.



 



Pauline was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 7, 1945, the daughter of Herbert and Daisy (Isaac) Hooper.



 



She was a member of St. George Orthodox Church, St. George Ladies Auxiliary and St. George Soyo.



 



Surviving are mother, Daisy Isaac of Flushing;



 



sons, Joe and wife Donna Jehnsen of Wisconsin,



Mark Jehnsen of Kalamazoo and



Christopher Jehnsen of Montrose;



 



grandchildren, Amanda, Trenton, Tristan, Gage, Travis, Cachet, Carastin, Aliya and Christopher II;



 



six great-grandchildren;



 



brothers, Bruce and wife Pat Harris of St. Helen,



Lee and wife Cathy Harris of Flint;



 



sister, Debbie and husband Ron Yuille of Charlevoix;



several nieces and nephews.

Always had a smile for you. Took my sister, Marthe under her wing. She always enjoyed life. I will have fond memories when ever I think of her. Guardian angels surround her family and friends. Love goes out to you.

Pauline was always very nice to me & my family. She loved playing Euchre & it was fun playing at her table. I didn't get to know her real well but I could tell she was a wonderful mother, grandma, cousin, daughter, sister, etc. she'll be remembered always. My condolences to her family, may they find a way to get through this difficult time...

So saddened to hear of Pauline's passing. She was such a caring, beautiful lady. Always so considerate of others. My sincere thoughts and prayer for the family.
