Not sure what to say?

Dear Dave, Peter, and Russ,
So sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I was looking for Russ' email address to wish him a happy birthday, and found this. Pauline was always so wonderful to me; I remember her fondly.
Theresa Lant

Pauline and I became friends when she was with the Vice-Provost for Minority Affairs at the U of Mich.
I enjoyed her wonderful sense of humor and her caring attitude.
I "followed her" to the Museum and maintained my Museum membership just because she was there.
I will certainly miss her positive attitude toward everything.
Thanks for being you, Pauline.
You will be missed.

What a life well lived, embracing so many issues to improve life for us all. I was always amazed how she remembered me and was so kind. An inspiring woman.

Pauline... I simply loved her. I respected and admired her determination and capacity. She always inspired me to higher levels of creativity in the work I do for the Washtenaw County Historical Society. We will miss her at 500 N. Main Street and do our best to carry out the work of collecting, preserving and presenting the history of Washtenaw County. Thank you to David, Russell, and Peter for sharing your mom with us. She loved you all.

Dave,
I'm so very sorry for you and your brothers. Pauline was an extraordinary person. I so admired the way she kept working at the Historical Society. She was a character, and I always enjoyed being with her when I came to Ann Arbor I'm sure you will miss her.

Pauline was one of my truest, dearest friends as well as being a great inspiration. She was fun to be around, so interesting & full of life. I loved her & will miss her so much.

My heart sunk when I heard the news that Pauline passed away. She was a wonderful person and impossible not to like upon first meeting.

Pauline's obituary stated "She also served many years as a Precinct Election Official." That's like saying, "Babe Ruth played baseball." Pauline served as an election inspector for the City of Ann Arbor from 1976 to 2005 and was a Chairperson the last 19 years of her tenure. She had a remarkable record as an election inspector. To Pauline the voter...

She was a dear friend and an exceptional person.
