Pauline L. Zajac

I worked for a summer on Mrs. and Mr. Zajac's farm as a teenager to help out my own family. I learned a lot from Mrs. Zajac both on that farm and as a student of hers at LTHS. I had worked the previous summer on the Nick Polovitch farm as well. Those summers were long hours, hard work and helped me to "grow up." I am almost 78 now myself and will never forget this part of my life. Thank you to both families.

My condolences to Pauline's family. She was a very sincere, hardworking woman. When I taught at Trail and Pauline substituted for me, I always knew that classes would go well. She was knowledgeable and in control of the class. She was a good teacher and a great person who loved her family. Joanne Doyle
