BOMBARRAL, Portugal - Paulo Fernando Lopes, 39, of New Bedford and Portugal passed away, Friday, Dec. 4, 2009.
Born in Angola, Africa, he was the son of Ana Maria Lopes and the late Fernando N. Lopes. In the past 2 years, he lived in U.S. and Europe.
He was employed by Morton, Charlton, Cape Cod Hospitals and the N.B. Community Health Center. He was a nursing student at BCC.
He was passionate about interpreting, human resources, family, and his nephew, Kurtis. He was recognized with numerous achievements, awards and an inauguration.
Funeral and cremation were according to his choices.
Survivors include his mother, Ana M.; his sister, Ana L. Lopes-Soares; and a nephew, Kurtis Lopes-Soares.
