Paunka Gmitric

A wonderful woman in every way. So giving of herself, and to so many. We will forever be grateful especially for her steadfast support of the Serbian Cultural Garden. For the past sixteen years her commitment to the garden grew just as the garden itself has continued to grow. We join the Gmitric family and the whole community in the loss of our Paunka. Paunka has been my friend for 48 years. We moved into our homes on Fay Drive at the same time both with young children. Over the years we watched each other's children grow, suffered the loss of our parents and we eventually became grandparents. I loved my neighbor and mourn her loss. She was a truly beautiful friend to me and to so many and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. My husband Bill, my family and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to Petar and his family.
