He broadened my musical scope and challenged me to do better on multiple occasions. I could always count on his sense of humor in an adverse setting to relieve the tension. My fondest memories of Payton are always surrounded by music. Payton gave me some of my first CD´s of my favorite bands. Those songs sound different today knowing he is gone.
