PAYTON (PETE) HARRELL

Littlefield (Special) Memorial Service for Payton (Pete) Harrell, age 86 of Littlefield will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Littlefield with the Reverend Joe Stewart pastor, officiating. Private family burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield.

Mr. Harrell passed away on November 28, 2004 at Lamb Healthcare Center in Littlefield, Texas. He was born on September 15, 1918 in Albion, Oklahoma to George and Hubert Harrell. He married Reba Sinclair on June 22, 1946 at the First Baptist Church in Littlefield. He served with the United States Army in the European Theater during WWII. He was employed at Reese Air Force Base for over 25 years. Pete had served as a Boy Scout Leader for several years. He enjoyed square dancing and was an active member of the Littlefield Senior Citizens and the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Reba on December 9, 1999 and by a brother Hershel Harrell.
