Brilliant lady who will be sorely missed but remembered forever as one of the great British writers of all time.

Your mother proved herself a gifted writer and a person great prudence, practicality and insight. I loved her stories and I loved her wisdom concerning human nature.

Please accept my condolences.

Sincere Syympathy to the James Family.
I have read all of her excellent books. They truly are all works of art. Her writing style was so unique. You simply felt you were part of the book and knew the characters.

I met PD James on a Translantic Crossing on the Cunard where was the guest and did several Q & Q's. I personally chatted with her several times on the ship and was delighted to have my photo taken with her in the library.
