Funeral for Pearl Bennett, 84, will be Sunday, October 24, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Robert Morgan, Jeff Bennett, Wendell Bennett and Truman Shaddrix officiating with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 23, 2010, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bennett died on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born January 01, 1926, in Morgan County to Robert C. Haynie and Evelyn Pearl Ray Haynie. She was a loving wife of the late Royce Bennett for 58 years. She was a loving Ma Ma to four children and a Granny-Ma-Maw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a lady that loved to laugh, loved people and family time. She loved to cook and loved everyone to come to her house and eat. She loved God , her church and time of worship with all her brothers and sisters in christ. She is in heaven waiting for everyone to join her where the circle will never be broken. She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Bennett, her parents and a sister, Marquerite Dunlap.

Survivors include three sons, Garland Bennett, Jeff Bennett (Jennifer) and Wendell Bennett (Rita), all of Eva; one daughter, Martha Buckelew (Roger) of Eva; seven grandchildren, Ethan and Hollie Bennett, Joshua (Cassy) Bennett, Jessica (Jordan) Wilson, Christopher and Todd Bennett and Amy (Jimmy) Cockrell; and three great-grandchildren, Ozlynn Bennett, Rusty and Nichole Cockrell.

Pallbearers will be Bill Brown, Kenneth Martin, Keith Bowen, Roger Buckelew, Jimmy Cockrell, Frankie Brindley.
