Aunt Pearl picked out my name, "Deborah", from the Bible and at one time she wanted to adopt me. She was my Godmother. It was always a pleasure to visit her at Mayfair. I'd go there to be a blessing to her and always came away feeling blessed myself. She was the only "mother" I had that was still living so I made it a point to visit her on Mother's Day or to send her a card.
