Not sure what to say?

Talking to a friend in Maringouin today, heard about Mrs. Harmon. I too remember the old drug store. I even have a few of the prescriptions for a free ice cream cone in my scrapbook! My family really respected the Harmons'. God rest her sweet soul and my sympathies to her wonderful family.

Don, I am so sorry to hear about Ms. Genny's death. She was a special lady and loved by all of Maringouin. I wish I could have made it to the services. You are in my prayers.

I have many early Maringouin childhood memories of your mother at Harmon's... the visits (with my father) at the drugstore, "cashing in" on free drugstore icecream after a doctor visit, or coming home with those rubber-band powered gliders at Harmon's. Ms Genny is a staple of many childhood memories.

So sorry to hear of Miss Genny's passing. She has a special place in my heart. Many great memories of her and Mr. Floyd.

My sincere prayers and condolences to the Harmon family. My children and I have many fond memories of times spent visiting Miss Genny at the drugstore, she was such an angel! God bless you all.
