Pearl Rita Pisher Hartman, age 93, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Pontchartrain Nursing Home of natural causes.
Pearl was the wife to the late Warren B. Hartman, daughter to the late Louis J. Pisher Sr. and the late Rose V. Pellegrini Pisher, sister to the late Louis J. Pisher Jr., mother to the late Jeanine H. Chauffe and the late Janet H. Wawak, grandmother to the late Lawrence M. Onorato Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Linda H. Wawak, grandchildren, Jean W. Noto and husband Melvin J. Noto, John R. Wawak Jr., James A. Winter and Christine C. Livingston, great-grandchildren, Ronald J. Wawak, Rachel M. Noto, William J. Noto, Staci Livingston, Jenna Livingston and Trinity R. Wawak.
She was born on October 3,1924 in New Orleans, La. and was a longtime resident of Chalmette, La.
For 30 years she was a dispatcher for General Electric and then, worked at the Village Laundry Mat until relocating to Covington, La.
She loved spending time with her family especially during the holidays and making everyone around her feel loved. Anyone who had the pleasure to meet her will always remember her sweet smile and kind heart.
