Not sure what to say?

Pearl always made me feel better just by being at a dance. She was a beautiful and gracious lady. Pearl was an inspiration to me through her dance and through her determination to be a participant in life and not just a spectator. We should all aspire to be like Pearl Hawkins. I'm going to miss her, and I will probably always look for her smiling face on the dance floor.

Ms Pearl was one of my hero's. I always told her how beautiful she was and how I wanted to be just like her when & if I ever grew up. It would make her blush & laugh and I loved to watch her face light up. She was such a Number 1 Class Act. I will miss her so very much.

I had known Pearl for many years through our dance studio, JBY dances, BBDA dances. She was always the same every time you saw her. She always had a smile and
ready to dance. She kept "young"
being so active. I always admired
her. I will miss our talks we had
at the different dances. When she
had her hip surgery, I had hip surgery about the same time, we would share and compare. She was
such a special "lady" and I will
really miss seeing her at...

Miss Pearl was a great lady, who lived to ejoy life. I have known her for two years through JBY,BBDA, and Dr. Dance. She was always a lady of class. Her smile and excitement about dance will be missed.

I have known Pearl for 8+ years now, since moving here from Minnesota.
She was a wonderful lady and an excellent dance partner.
We will miss her greatly.

I one night in the late 70's when disco was the hot dance. I remember asking Pearl to dance with me and she was dressed to the 9s. This was one of my first experiences good dancing experiences and many more to follow
with Pearl Hawkins.

I have known Pearl through dance and fitness since the 60's when she was a student at the Arthur Murray Studio. Through the years I have watched in amazement of her physical talents with ice dancing and ballroom dancing. I have known her to always be a gracious lady and to hardly ever miss a dance occasion. She was a Charter member of the Birmingham Ballroom Dance Association, and we will greatly miss her.
