Pearl Levy

We extend our deepest condolences to the family of Pearl Levy. In the 9 years I served as rabbi of Agudath B'nai Israel (1977-1986) I had many dealings with Pearl. Our frequent conversations were always meaningful and I learned a great deal from her. I have many fond memories of Pearl that will stay with me and that years cannot dim. May God who comforts all who mourn grant you and your family consolation among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

I am presently sitting in a hotel in Venice Florida and just read the obituary for Pearl. It described her perfectly. I was her travel agent at Svete Travel in Lorain until she moved to Florida. She would always get all of us all to buy tickets for the Bagel Breakfast at the Temple. No one ever said NO to Pearl. I wish I could be there Thursday. My deepest sympathy to all. The world has lost a great treasure--Pearl Levy.
