Not sure what to say?

Dear Grandma,
Thanks for so many wonderful memories, especially times at the ranch:
- riding horses, trips to Chico, swimming in the irrigation ditch, picking up rotten figs, the monkey swing in the barn, all the canning, and embroidery lessons, and the best potato salad on the planet! You and Grandpa invented summer camp for this family. I'm thankful you are at peace now, and that our whole family has many remembrances of your heart and creativity. See ya when I get there!...

Pearl, you were a great friend to me and to my parents. Many a time I stopped into the paint store and enjoyed a visit with both you and Art. I am so glad we had a brief visit with you in 1991 when we visited Florida. I'll miss your notes at Christmas, but I will always remember the twinkle in your eyes, your quiet sense of humor and your devotion to your family. Thankfully, I am sure you are now with Our Lord forever more.
Love,

Pearl, to her legions of friends, Grammy to her family, feisty to the end, I couldn't have asked for a better Mother-in-Law. You are already sorely missed, but in a much better place now then you were. Your warmth and graciousness are lovingly carried on by your progeny...thankfully, you knew that as you watched ensuing generations mature into the responsible members/leaders of our communities and citizens of our nation that they are.

In loving memory of a great role model:devoted wife; successful business woman; loving, teaching Mom; and dedicated Grandma and GreatGrandma.
