Not sure what to say?

Pearl was a Hero.

Colonel Tucker was a wonderful leader while at Malcolm Grow USA Medical Center. She was a compassionate friend to all lucky to know her. May Pearl rest in the peace of the Lord and may all continue to learn from her.

I was honored to have served with Pearl Tucker at Malcolm Grow USAF Medical Center, Andrews AFB, Maryland. She was an inspiring leader and had an honorary Ph.D. Her favorite saying to her staff was Get your ducks lined up. She had a mother duck and several baby ducks sewn into her uniform jacket! A great lady, respected by all!

I saw her memorabilia on Antiques Road Show. Thanks to hwr niece for sharing it. She was a remarkable person!

I don't know Pearl or her family. But, having just heard her story, I'm filled with admiration and emotion. I look forward to the book, movie, and a holiday that honors her and other remarkable women in history. My most sincere condolences. May she rest in space...and peace.

Col. Tucker was the Chief nurse when I served as an Air Force nurse at Andrews AFB near Washington, D.C. from 1976-1979. I too saw the
Antiques Roadshow segment recently on TV and it
brought back those memories. Captain Alice Mack. She's off duty now for a well deserved rest.

I just saw an episode of Antiques Roadshow where a member of her family brought memorabilia of this remarkable woman and her ties with the early aerospace program. It was a fascinating portion of our history I knew nothing about. She left quite a legacy. God bless her. She's flying high now.

To Col. Tucker's Family A sincere thank you Col. Tucker for you contribution to NASA and space exploration, you remain an enduring symbol of achievement for all women, who have served this great Nation.
